What are the responsibilities and job description for the Basic Visual Quality Inspector - Byhalia, MS (1099 Contract) position at Pro QC International?
Responsibilities:-
Project Duration: CURRENT PROJECT: Starting ASAP to September 2026.
>Note: This is a 1099 contract role – project duration may vary based on client needs
Shift Hours: CURRENT PROJECT: Up to 12-hour shifts required (Possible schedules: 4:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM minimum).
>Note: As a 1099 contractor, project schedules may vary depending on site availability
Location: Must be able to travel to Byhalia, MS 38611 and nearby areas
(exact CLIENT address can ONLY be shared once contractor is confirmed)
- Supervision and sampling inspection of two packing stations for heated gift box assemblies (textiles and warmer items).
- Check for correct items inside the packages and verify packaging accuracy.
- Monitor automated defect-detection cameras.
- Correct errors or escalate them for corrective actions.
- Enter all inspection data into an iPad.
- Excellent physical stamina.
- Must be able to stand on feet for long periods (up to 12-hour shifts). No heavy lifting involved.
- Special Note: Candidates must confirm full flexibility for a 12-hour shift (4:00 AM to 4:00 PM) before onboarding to avoid availability issues if the client switches schedules.
- Basic tech literacy (data entry on iPad) and ability to monitor automated inspection/defect-detection cameras.
- Experience in production, packing, kitting, or assembly environments is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience handling basic digital devices (tablets/iPads) for data collection.
