Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Sewage Pump Station Cleaner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and cleanliness of sewage pump stations. This is a solo position, where you will be tasked with clearing materials and debris from sewage pits, performing cleaning operations using enzymes and deodorizers, and completing a preventative maintenance checklist and report. This is a crucial role that helps ensure the smooth operation of our customers sewage systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Debris Removal: Scoop out debris and materials from sewage pits to ensure proper flow and operation of the pump station.
- Cleaning: Use enzymes and deodorizers to clean the sewage pits, keeping them sanitary and odor-free.
- Preventative Maintenance: Follow a maintenance checklist to perform regular inspections and minor repairs, ensuring the pump station operates efficiently.
- Reporting: Document and report maintenance activities and any issues that require attention.
- Solo Work: This is a solitary position where you will work independently, managing your own schedule and tasks.
Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License: Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate company vehicles to travel between locations.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow maintenance checklists and identify issues or irregularities.
- Independence: Comfortable working alone and managing your own time.
- Mechanical Interest: This position provides an opportunity to learn about pumps, motors, and basic mechanical systems with room for growth in a mechanical field.
