Job Title: Builder – 1st Shift
Shift Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 7:00 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.
Friday: 7:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Position Overview:
As a Builder, you will be responsible for constructing pallets according to specified designs and standards. This is a production-based role where pay is determined by the number of pallets built. You will be expected to work safely, efficiently, and either independently or with a partner depending on the size and complexity of the pallets being built.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Build pallets according to the specifications provided by the scheduling team.
- Accurately read, understand, and follow the build specifications for each pallet.
- Check materials for proper length and thickness. Ability to identify wood thicknesses (½” vs ¾”).
- Properly use pneumatic nail guns and select the correct nails based on the material thickness and specifications.
- Ensure nail guns are returned to the locked nail gun cage at the end of each shift.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, eliminating any safety hazards.
- Stand and work at a fast pace for the entire shift.
- Lift up to 50 lbs. continuously throughout the shift.
Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Proficient in reading a tape measure.
- Experience using a pneumatic nail gun in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to meet fast-paced productivity goals and standards.
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding warehouse environment.
