Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Optician, located in West Lebanon, NH. The Optician will assist customers with selecting, fitting, and adjusting eyewear, ensuring accurate measurements and a comfortable fit. Responsibilities include guiding patients through lens choices, assisting with prescriptions provided by optometrists, and offering high-quality customer service. Additionally, the Optician will ensure inventory is well-maintained and assist customers with any repairs or adjustments needed for their eyewear.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of optics and optometry, including lens and frame selection expertise
- Proficiency in customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Capability to guide customers in understanding their eye exam results and prescription needs
- Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and organizational abilities
- Experience working in an optical retail or optometrist office is a plus
- Familiarity with current eyewear trends and technologies
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a licensed optician is preferred
