Duties
- Perform oil and fluid replacements efficiently on a variety of standard passenger vehicles using hand tools and power tools.
- Conduct basic vehicle inspections to identify potential mechanical issues and communicate findings to the service team.
- Assist with tire services, including rotations, replacements, and alignments to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
- Support minor mechanical repairs such as brake checks, filter replacements, and other routine maintenance tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and answering customer questions professionally.
- Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as wheel alignments and general mechanical repairs when needed.
Skills
- Previous dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostic equipment.
- Familiarity with standard passenger car operation, automotive fluid replacement procedures, and basic vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling tires, batteries, or other vehicle components.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics to identify issues beyond routine oil changes is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail during maintenance tasks.
