What are the responsibilities and job description for the Brake Press/ Laser Operator position at Pro Mechanical Services?
We are seeking skilled CNC Brake Press/ Laser Operators! This is a full- time position with a local facility focusing on metal fabrication. This job consists of bending, forming, cutting, and shaping various metals with CNC machinery. Candidates must have 3 years of proven experience in this field. Please apply and provide a resume!
- Shift: 1st and 2nd shift available.
- Pay: $25 - $27 an hour based on previous experience.
- Set up and operate CNC and hydraulic press brake machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
- Calculate and adjust bend allowances, angles, and dimensions as needed.
- Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, angle gauges, and other measuring equipment.
- Make machine adjustments to maintain required tolerances and part quality.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and Background.
- Must be willing to work overtime if needed.
