Role Description
We are seeking a talented and innovative Production Designer to join our team. Will work closely with production, sales, and operations teams. Reports directly to the Plant Manager. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Nixa, MO. The Production Designer will:
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop production-ready designs.
-Manage print production tasks.
-Develop CAD Models and drawings for both customers and fabricators.
-Utilize AutoDesk software such as AutoDesk Inventor and AutoDesk AutoCAD.
-Work with Plant Manager and shop leaders to establish efficient manufacturing processes.
-Communicate with customers for custom parts and prototyping.
-Design parts and assemblies with manufacturability, cost, and efficiency in mind (DFM/DFA).
-Support shop floor troubleshooting and design revisions during production.
-Create and maintain bills of materials (BOMs), cut lists, and fabrication documentation.
-Maintain organized CAD files, drawing standards, and revision control
Qualifications
-Strong skills in Print Production and Production Design to develop detailed layouts for manufacturing and branding needs.
-Proficiency in Image Editing and Graphics to produce precise and visually appealing outputs.
-Understanding of Branding principles to ensure consistency across all deliverables.
-Ability to follow documented systems and standards while maintaining an eye for detail.
-Strong organizational skills, with the capability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
-Familiarity with Autodesk Inventor or similar design software is beneficial.
-Familiarity with CNC, laser cutting, press brake, or machining processes preferred.
-Production design and drafting degree preferred.
-5 years experience with 3D CAD software such as Inventor.
-3 years manufacturing environment experience preferred.
