Introduction:
We are a local, family-run business with a simple goal of keeping the community we serve, clean and healthy. With over 3 decades of experience in the cleaning industry, many local governments and businesses rely on us to ensure their staff members have tidy and clean working environments.
We are seeking a Janitor/Custodian to help us keep local government locations clean and safe for the community. As a member of our team, you can choose to work within a team setting, or individually. The position includes paid training and all necessary tools for you to perform necessary day-to-day general cleaning duties.
This position gives you flexible hours and a great way to earn some extra money. With day and evening shifts available, we have something that fits your schedule.
Pay & Perks:
This position has pay of $17 per hour at 8.5 hours per week, based on experience and work quality. We also offer a SIMPLE IRA retirement plan with employer match. (similar to a 401K).
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties such as cleaning restrooms, vacuuming carpets, emptying trash, mopping floors, dusting, etc...
- Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition
- Perform routine maintenance tasks
- Organize custodial closets and spaces
- Maintain working condition of cleaning equipment
Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must have reliable transportation
- Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or other related fields
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
