Join a nonprofit medical team providing free pregnancy confirmation ultrasounds to women facing unexpected and unplanned pregnancies.
Pro-Life Utah is seeking a compassionate, skilled Sonographer to serve patients in our Mobile Ultrasound Clinic based in Salt Lake City. Our nonprofit organization is dedicated to supporting women with accurate medical information, compassionate care, and practical resources during one of the most important moments of their lives.
This position is ideal for someone who wants to use their professional skills to make a meaningful difference while serving women and protecting the pre-born.
Responsibilities
* Perform high-quality, limited obstetrical (pregnancy confirmation) transabdominal and transvaginal ultrasounds with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Capture and document diagnostic images for physician review.
* Maintain accurate and confidential electronic medical records.
* Follow proper aseptic and safety protocols.
* Provide every patient with a kind, respectful, and supportive ultrasound experience.
* Operate ultrasound equipment proficiently within a mobile medical clinic setting.
Qualifications
* Certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) or equivalent credentials required.
* Experience performing limited obstetrical/pregnancy confirmation transabdominal and transvaginal ultrasounds.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic imaging principles related to women’s health.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong commitment to pro-life values, supporting women facing unexpected and unplanned pregnancies, and protecting the pre-born.
*Ability to speak Spanish is a plus, but not required.
