On-Site Data Collection Moderator (Part-Time)
Locations: Jersey City, Nj
Hours: Up to 29 hours per week
Own vehicle is mandatory
Timing-
Monday to Friday- 5 PM- 9 PM
Saturday and Sunday- 9 AM to 5 PM
About the Role
We are hiring part-time On-Site Moderators to support in-person data collection sessions for research and product-testing projects. This position is ideal for individuals who are organized, dependable, and comfortable working with technology in a structured environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome participants and check them in for scheduled sessions
- Provide clear instructions and guide participants through session procedures
- Distribute and collect consent forms and required documentation
- Accurately record participant demographic and payment information
- Set up, track, and maintain data collection devices (e.g., laptops, tablets, phones, wearables)
- Upload, label, and store collected data following provided guidelines
- Assist the project team with general operational tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Must have reliable transportation to assigned on-site location
- Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends based on project needs
- Basic familiarity with Mac computers and standard office software
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, OneDrive)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow step-by-step procedures
- Professional, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
