We are looking for an Assistant Manger in our West Town Mall location. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to the store’s profitability.

The candidate for this position will be taught the ins and outs of managing a retail store.

Social Media knowledge is a plus also. We are looking for someone in house to be creative and improve our Social Media accounts that include Instagram, TikTok and Facebook. This isn't a necessity but would definitely help.

Currently, this position is for mostly evening shifts weekdays thru Saturday. Amount of hours will be around 25-32 hours per week depending on availability.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct customers
• Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)
• Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
• Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing
• Cross-sell products
• Ensure racks are fully stocked
• Knowledge of sports cards, non-sports cards, or sports memorabilia is preferred
• Coordinate with the Retail Sales Representatives team to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times)
• Inform customers about discounts and special offers
• Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager
• Stay up-to-date with new products/services
• An understanding, following and passion for professional sports is preferred

Skills

• Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate or similar role is preferred, but not required
• Understanding of the retail sales process
• Ability to work on your own by taking direction or key-action items from a manager and then breaking work into executable steps, and accomplishing that work in a timely manner
• Basic math skills
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
• Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• High school degree
• Knowledge of online card breaking and listing products on ebay helps, but is not required.
• Pay: TBD (Hourly, based on experience)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
