The Lead Housekeeper is a full-time Pro Housing employee who:
- Reports to Pro Housing’s General Manager
- Oversees all aspects of housekeeping for the Pro Housing portfolio; ensures that all housekeeping activities align with the company’s objectives and goals and comply with all company procedures.
- Monitors the housekeeping assignment schedule daily to ensure coverage.
- Plans, organizes and leads housekeeping meetings.
- Cleans, manages, mentors, trains, organizes, and supervises the housekeeping department while physically assisting and ensuring that the cleanliness inside the units is top-notch.
- Manages and trains our housekeeping contractors
- Completes regular inspections of the units to maintain exemplary cleanliness (quality control)
- Creates a welcoming environment for our guests by ensuring all apartment units and community common areas are cared for and cleaned to Pro Housing standards.
- Identifies maintenance issues and submits work orders within the Pro Housing system to ensure each unit is operating to the highest standards.
- Assists Pro Housing staff with unit setup
- Work closely with the Pro Housing staff to support client relationships, and always corresponds in a positive, professional and enthusiastic manner with our clients
- Leads performance evaluations with our General Manager to provide feedback to and continuously improve our housekeeping staff.
- Manages inventory of linens and soft goods
- Wear the Pro Housing uniform at all times and confirm that all housekeeping staff does the same.
***This is not a 9-5 job; you may be called upon after normal business hours and on weekends. Flexibility is key. ***
Requirements:
- Housekeeping Management Experience
- Experience with supply and inventory management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Problem solving ability
- Strong leadership skills including mentoring, training and disciplinary action
- Highly organized
- Reliable transportation and valid Driver’s License
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend, stoop, squat, kneel and lift over 20 pounds.
- Bi-Lingual.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
