HOME THEATER SALES ASSOCIATE – Dublin, CA
The AVMS / PHS Home Theater Sales Associate is responsible for providing system design and sales proposals to customers seeking premium home electronic lifestyle solutions. In this position, one is empowered to provide a premium level of service to customers by traveling to their homes or businesses to perform advanced-level consultations. The Home Theater Salas Associate builds and manages relationships with, homeowners, builders, architects, and interior designers. This position reports directly to the sales manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Maintaining and cultivating relationships with current clients to ensure high customer satisfaction while creating ongoing sales opportunities.
- Conducting new business development activities including new customer contacts.
- Working with customers to understand and identify their needs and objectives.
- Propose and demonstrate solutions for prospective clients and projects.
- Staying abreast of industry and technology developments through ongoing training.
- Maintaining Customer Relationship Database (CRM).
- Developing and leveraging relationships with strategic vendors.
- Supporting AVMS - PHS infrastructural documentation as it pertains to project management, punch lists, and or project updates.
- Working independently with a hunter mentality, and as a team member, with responsibility and accountability.
- Interfacing with the AVMS - PHS operations teams, job site trades, site project management, and onsite client representatives.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be willing to relocate to the greater San Francisco Bay Area.
- Must be a motivated and growth-seeking experienced individual with an aptitude for audio-visual, home automation, lighting systems, wired and wireless networks, and associated low-voltage technologies.
- Must have 2 – 3 years of verifiable SALES track record in the low voltage industry with qualified knowledge and experience within the residential and commercial construction environments.
- Experienced with the ability to generate leads with the understanding of new customer set up, retention of the customer, and most importantly generating top-quality referrals for return-business from clients.
- Experienced with design and sales of Crestron, Control 4, URC, and or Savant control systems.
- Experienced with design and sales of Luxul, Cisco, Ruckus, Araknis, Package, and OvrC network systems.
- Experienced with design and sales of Internet Technologies and streaming network equipment platforms.
- Must have the ability to read schematics, blueprints, technical documents.
- Must be fluent with windows 10 platform skills. Must be skilled in Office 365 suite and MS Excel.
- Must be able to maintain clear communications and manage conflicts or issues professionally.
- Must be diversified in work scope applications and able to adapt to quick changes in a positive manner.
- Must be able to travel to remote job sites as needed (25% travel required).
- Must have a valid driver’s license, must maintain a clean civil record.
