Load and unload crops or containers of materials, manually or using conveyors, handtrucks, forklifts, or transfer augers. Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions. Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery. Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops. Clean work areas, and maintain grounds and landscaping. Examine and inspect containers, materials, or products to ensurethat product quality and packing specifications are met. Measure, weigh, and count products and materials. Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records. Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers, using hand tools. Obtain, move, and sort products, materials, containers, and orders, using hand tools. Mark and label containers, container tags, or products, using marking tools. Place or pour products or materials into containers, using hand tools and equipment, or fill containers from spouts or chutes. Load materials and products into package processing equipment. Operate back hoe, forklift, trucks on the farm. Perform farm maintenance activities. General seasonal farm duties assigned. Tractor tillage work. Maintain and operate irrigation systems.
