Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shop Helper to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will assist with a variety of shop floor tasks, supporting skilled technicians and operators to ensure smooth production processes. Your energetic approach and willingness to learn will contribute to maintaining a safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing environment.
Duties
- Assit with keeping the floor clear and orgnaized.
- Help load, unload, and organize sheet metal, tooling, and fabrication materials safely using forklifts and cranes when certified
- Prepare materials for machining processes by following blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency on the shop floor
- Assist with basic machine maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring proper operation of equipment such as press brakes and stamping presses
Experience
- Ability to perform basic math calculations relevant to machining and fabrication tasks
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety
