Pro Fab Machine is seeking a detail-oriented JobBOSS² Data Entry Specialist to support our manufacturing and production operations. This position is responsible for accurately reviewing engineering drawings, creating and routing jobs within JobBOSS², and ensuring all production data is entered correctly. The ideal candidate has prior experience with JobBOSS², understands manufacturing processes, and can interpret engineering prints to build accurate job travelers.
Key Responsibilities- Create and enter new jobs into JobBOSS².
- Review engineering drawings, blueprints, and customer specifications.
- Develop accurate manufacturing routings based on engineering prints and shop capabilities.
- Enter bills of materials (BOMs), operations, work centers, labor estimates, and required materials.
- Assign machines, departments, and sequencing for each operation.
- Verify data accuracy before releasing jobs to production.
- Coordinate with engineering, estimating, purchasing, and production personnel to resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain and update existing job records as revisions occur.
- Ensure manufacturing documentation is complete and organized.
- Assist with scheduling and production planning as needed.
- Follow company quality standards and documentation procedures.
- Previous experience using JobBOSS² (required).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and mechanical blueprints.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, machining, welding, fabrication, and assembly.
- High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a CNC machining or heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
- Understanding of machining operations, tooling, and manufacturing workflows.
- Experience creating routings, work instructions, and manufacturing travelers.
