As a Fabricator trainee you will work with others in all facets of the job as it progresses forward through our shop.
Sandblasting, grinding, cutting, drilling, painting, metal forming and on and on.
Every project is different from the last. No assembly lines here.
Starting pay depends on experience.

Duties
- Assist experienced welders and fabricators in performing MIG and TIG welding on various metal components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble.
- Measure materials accurately, perform basic math calculations for measurements and adjustments.
- Support rigging, machining, and assembly tasks as directed by supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols; assist with rigging and handling heavy materials using overhead cranes or forklifts.
- Learn to follow ASME codes & standards for welding and fabrication processes to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Experience
- Construction site experience or exposure to manufacturing environments is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm for learning!
- Basic familiarity with hand tools, power tools, schematics, and blueprint reading is advantageous.
- Prior experience with welding techniques such as MIG, TIG or FCAW is a plus!
- Knowledge of mechanical systems or construction processes can help accelerate your development in this role.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately; comfort working with measurement instruments.
- Willingness to learn about ASME codes & standards related to welding and fabrication practices.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
