We are seeking a skilled and dependable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a range of commercial vehicles, including concrete mixers, dump trucks, semis, and heavy equipment. In this role, you'll be responsible for transporting materials to and from construction sites, ensuring safety and compliance with all regulations, and providing excellent service.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles such as concrete mixers, semis, and loaders safely and efficiently.
- Transport materials to construction sites, ensuring timely delivery.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload materials as needed, utilizing heavy equipment operation skills effectively.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and materials transported.
- Collaborate with construction site teams to coordinate deliveries and assist with site operations as necessary.
- Ensure proper maintenance of vehicles by reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with concrete mixers and semis.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred, including loader operation.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
- Previous experience working on construction sites is a plus.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDLA or B) is required.
