FedEx Ground Contracted Service Provider has a full time CDL driver position open for hire. Driver must be able to provide evidence of one year of verifiable driving experience within the past three years or five years of verifiable experience within the past ten years. Driver must be able to pass a DOT physical and Pre-Employment drug test. Driver must be able to pass a background check and must have a clean MVR with no more than two violations in the previous twelve months (Speeding over 15 mph will disqualify applicant). Pro Driver Inc, we are looking for safety conscious and experienced CDL Class A drivers. We have immediate openings for Team Driver with guaranteed home time daily or every other day. Must be willing to work any five-six days Monday to Sunday without any weekend restriction. Please apply if you consider yourself to be highly flexible, adaptable. We are looking for an experienced truck driver to serve FedEx Ground in a safe and timely manner.

-We run terminal to terminal

-Strictly Drop and Hook (no loading or un-loading)

Responsibilities

• Transport trailers within the FedEx Ground network.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
• Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Report defects, accidents or violations

Skills

• Proven work experience as a truck driver
• Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc)
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• No recent moving or driving violations
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)

Requirements:

• Class A commercial driving license
• 1 year driving experience
• doubles endorsement
• 21 years old minimum
• must pass background check
• Professional, courteous, honest, disciplined, and display leadership attributes
