The Site Operations Manager is accountable for total site performance including hauling operations, facility management, safety, compliance, cost control, and workforce execution. This role drives operational excellence by aligning people, process, and performance metrics to deliver consistent, high-level service outcomes.
This leader operates as the central authority of site execution, ensuring that all routes, equipment, personnel, and facility workflows operate efficiently, safely, and profitably while continuously improving performance standards.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
OPERATIONS
• Oversee full daily execution of all routes from dispatch to completion
- Ensure all routes are staffed, equipped, and optimized prior to departure
• Eliminate inefficiencies in routing, downtime, and labor utilization
FACILITY MANAGEMENT
• Maintain full control of yard, transfer station, and facility operations
• Ensure site cleanliness, organization, and operational flow
• Manage traffic patterns, staging, and container logistics
• Coordinate repairs, upkeep, and vendor management
• Ensure environmental and regulatory compliance at all times
SAFETY & COMPLIANCE
• Enforce all OSHA, DOT, and company safety standards
- Conduct ride-alongs, audits, and safety inspections
• Lead safety meetings and training programs
TEAM LEADERSHIP
• Direct drivers, loaders, and site personnel
• Drive accountability through performance tracking and coaching
• Conduct disciplinary actions and performance reviews
• Maintain staffing levels and support hiring
FLEET & EQUIPMENT
• Oversee fleet condition, inspections, and maintenance coordination
• Maximize uptime and reduce breakdowns
• Monitor fuel usage and asset efficiency
CUSTOMER & SERVICE
• Ensure service reliability and completion
• Resolve escalated service issues
• Maintain high customer satisfactionAdditional Information
- Full-Time, Non-Exempt position
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and perform physical labor (bending, twisting, repetitive motion)
- Safety-sensitive position subject to DOT drug testing (including marijuana)
- Ability to work in both shop and field environments
- Must handle company and customer information professionally
