School-Based Mental Health Technician
Location: Wilkes- Barre, PA
Schedule: Full-time, M-F, normal school day hours
Caseload: K-12, Partial Hospitalization Program

What you’ll do as a Mental Health Technician.
Mental Health Technicians provide behavior support to all students within the classroom, support individual behavioral plans and interventions, run daily social-emotional groups, provide direct behavioral instruction, and model appropriate behavior for students.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Services is required
- Strong desire and motivation to work with children/youth with a behavioral/mental health diagnosis
- A minimum of two years experience working with children in a mental health setting
- Previous experience as a school-based Mental Health Technician is highly preferred
- Completion of the 40 hour RBT training (3rd edition task list) is highly preferred. A free course can be found through Autism Partnership Foundation.
- Current clearances (within 6 months); Safety-Care certification is a plus
