We are looking for an experienced Carpet Cleaning Technician who is driven to learn and grow with our Commercial and Residential Rug & Carpet Cleaning Company. We have been in business for over 40 years in the carpet cleaning industry servicing all areas of Northeast Ohio and surrounding areas. We are currently looking for someone to fill the position of a Full Time Carpet Cleaning Technician.
Skills and Job Duties:
- Experience in carpet cleaning, floor care, or related custodial work is REQUIRED
- Knowledge of different carpet types, cleaning methods, and stain removal techniques
- Ability to operate carpet cleaning equipment and other floor care tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and address carpet issues effectively
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, carry equipment up and down stairs, bending for periods of time, and move furniture as required
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner
Responsibilities:
- Perform carpet cleaning services for residential and commercial clients
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques to ensure high-quality results
- Inspect carpets for stains, damage, or other issues and determine the best course of action
- Move furniture and other items as necessary to access and clean carpets
- Apply cleaning solutions and treatments to remove dirt, stains, and odors from carpets
- Follow established safety protocols and use personal protective equipment when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and equipment
*Note*: Must have a clean driving record and being able to be on call for emergency extractions.
