Pro-Clean Auto Detail Systems is looking for experienced Automotive Painter to join our growing business.
Core Responsibilities
- Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, and mask vehicle surfaces to ensure proper paint adhesion. This may include removing rust, dents, or old paint.
- Color Matching: Mix and match paint to exact specifications so it blends seamlessly with the vehicle’s original color.
- Paint Application: Use spray guns and other tools to apply primer, base coat, and clear coat evenly.
- Detail Work: Touch up small imperfections and ensure a smooth, high-quality finish.
- Inspection: Check completed work for defects like runs, bubbles, or uneven coverage and correct them if needed.
- Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain spray booths, guns, and other painting equipment.
Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of automotive paint types, coatings, and finishes
- Ability to use spray equipment and hand tools precisely
- Good color perception and attention to detail
- Familiarity with safety procedures (ventilation, protective gear, handling chemicals)
- Basic understanding of vehicle body repair (helpful but not always required)
Work Environment
- Typically works in a paint booth with controlled ventilation
- Requires wearing protective gear (respirators, gloves, suits) due to fumes and chemicals
- May involve standing for long periods and working with hands continuously
Experience
- 2 years on the job work experience.
We are drug free work environment and must be able to pass a pre employment drug screening.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $5,600.00 per month
