Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicles by cleaning, inspecting, and masking areas to ensure proper rust-proofing application
- Apply rust-proofing treatments using spray guns, undercoating machines, or other specialized equipment
- Assist with shop maintenance, including organizing tools, supplies, and work areas to promote safety and efficiency
- Support the team during vehicle inspections and quality checks post-treatment to guarantee customer satisfaction
- Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying supervisors of stock needs
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate workflow and meet daily production goals
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems or previous experience in vehicle maintenance is a plus but not required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow safety procedures closely
