Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Head Coach at Pro Ambitions Hockey, Inc. The Head Coach will be responsible for leading training sessions, implementing the company’s customized hockey curriculums, and coaching players to improve their skills. Key duties include mentoring youth hockey players, preparing training plans, facilitating skill development in skating, passing, and shooting, and ensuring a safe and motivational learning environment for participants. The Head Coach will collaborate with other staff to uphold the standards of Pro Ambitions and assist in camp organization and operations.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of hockey techniques and strategies, including skating, passing, shooting, and game situational plays
- Proven coaching or teaching experience, preferably in youth hockey development
- Excellent leadership, mentorship, and communication skills to engage with players, parents, and coaching staff
- Ability to collaborate in a team setting and contribute to the preparation and execution of training programs
- Flexibility to work part-time and remotely, with availability for travel as needed
- Familiarity with the Pro Ambitions curriculum or similar hockey development frameworks is a plus
- Passion for fostering development and growth in young athletes
