What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate (Receiving) position at Pro-Am Team Sports?
Pro-Am Team Sports creates branded apparel, particularly team uniforms, corporate wear and spirit wear. We help our customers create the vision for their personalized apparel.
Our team is currently seeking a Part Time Warehouse Associate to join our team in Schererville, IN. This position handles activities related to the receiving, distribution, storage and shipment of customer orders and company products and materials. Engagement with workflow software is required. Hourly wage based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures that the inbound orders are correct.
- Data entry to support receiving and shipping
- Handles outbound orders, returns and outbound shipping.
- Addresses all the variances - wrong items sent, holes in the items sent, etc.
- Loads and unloads delivery trucks.
- Distributes incoming products and materials to the appropriate departments.
- Communicates with Customer Service, Quality Control and Sales teams in the fulfillment of customer orders.
- Conducts inventory of incoming products and materials and conducts inventory of on hand products and materials to ensure accurate counts and adequate inventory levels.
- Ensures clean and safe work environment is maintained in the warehouse.
- May make deliveries to customers and may also deliver product or material to other Pro-Am locations.
What you need to succeed:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a warehouse environment.
- Strong computer skills
- Familiarity and/or experience with shipping and receiving processes and practices.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Ability to organize and manage time and projects effectively under strict timelines within a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive can-do attitude and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal teams.
