Supervisor - Screen Print Company

Job Summary
The new Production Manager is to be responsible and accountable for the completion of all customer orders.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader who is willing to "roll up their sleeves" and pitch in to ensure that every order is completed on time, meets company quality standards and is produced in the most efficient manner.

Essential Duties Responsibilities

• Supervising and training employees in the areas of screen print, embroidery, art and heat transfer.
• Developing processes to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Developing quality standards and continuously evaluating performance, products and processes.
• Running prints and performing quality checks throughout the printing processes.
• Examining work orders to determine estimated print times, ink and material quantities.
• Selecting screen size, degreasing agents and emulsion coatings.
• Create and maintain schedule
• Track inventory for all ink, production and part supplies.
• Knowledge about capacity of staff and machines, including reporting on quality and speed performance of all production staff.
• Addressing workflow concerns with production.
• Handle disciplinary issues within the department.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Ensures equipment maintenance is performed as scheduled.
• Ensures a clean and safe work environment is maintained.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety and clean work environment with the team.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position oversees Production employees and is responsible to:

• Set expectations and ensure accountability for Production employees as a group and as individuals.
• Identify performance issues, address them with employees, communicate issues to Management. Develop and implement performance improvement plans.
• Analyze current personnel and resources, identify needs in both, and work with Management to develop additional capabilities when needed.
• Responsible for setting and maintaining expectations with employees that guarantee results commensurate with the guidelines set by the management team.

Sphere of Interaction
This position interacts and interfaces with all staff and leadership as well as supplies and customers.

Experience

• Must have minimum 5 years proven experience in a Screen Print Supervisoryrole within a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Familiarity with assembly lines, fabrication processes, and quality control measures.
• Strong knowledge in screen printing industry.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team towards achieving production goals.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in managing production workflows.
