Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods and packages to designated locations
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure on-time delivery
- Load and unload cargo, verifying accuracy of shipments against manifests or delivery orders
- Obtain signatures or confirmations upon successful delivery
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-functioning delivery vehicle
- Communicate with dispatch and team members regarding route updates or delivery issues
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Prior delivery driving or logistics experience preferred
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Familiarity with the Dearborn, MI area and surrounding regions is a plus
- Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) check
