Job Title: Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist – PRN
Location: Carroll Hospital, 200 Memorial Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157
Department: Cardiology / Cath Lab
Job Summary:
Carroll Hospital is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist to join our team on a PRN basis. In this role, you will conduct various imaging procedures in Diagnostic, Interventional Cardiology, and Peripheral Vascular services to assist physicians with therapeutic interventions. You will also provide advanced technical support to fellow technologists and registered nurses.
Responsibilities:

Assist physicians during Diagnostic and Interventional procedures, including peripheral interventions and Electrophysiology Studies.

Set up and record Left and Right Heart Pressures and Cardiac Outputs; document hemodynamics and procedural notes using our standardized "WITT" format.

Bill for supplies, equipment, and procedural charges in accordance with Cath Lab standards.

Provide advanced technical support in fluoroscopy and digital radiography; advise staff on proper imaging parameters.

Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs; ensure equipment is clean and operational.

Remove arterial and venous sheaths; when competent, remove IABP catheters and sheaths.

Maintain inventory and stock necessary supplies in the assigned area.

Participate in on-call, holiday, and PRN shift coverage as required.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
-
Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology OR graduate of a JRCERT-accredited school of Radiologic Technology.

Advanced technical knowledge in cardiovascular imaging procedures.

Strong ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and technologists.
Licenses & Certifications (Required):

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Basic Life Support (BLS)

One of the following professional credentials:

RCS, RDCS, RCIS, RCES, or Registered Radiologic Technologist (R.T.)
