Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Blandon, Pennsylvania
Salary Range: $80,000 – $120,000 per year
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Manufacturing Engineer to optimize production processes, improve efficiency, and ensure product quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing systems, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Analyze production workflows and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Maintenance, and Production.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
- Support new product introductions and ensure manufacturability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues in real-time.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Education & Qualifications:
- College degree preferred but not required.
- 2 years’ experience in manufacturing.
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Experience in design, the appliance industry, or sheet metal.
- CAD drawing experience.
- Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing data analysis.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
