Pain Medicine Physician (Full-Time)
Locations: Waldorf, MD & Prince Frederick, MD
Practice: Newbridge Spine & Pain Center
Position Overview:
Newbridge Spine & Pain Center, a leading provider of comprehensive pain management services, is seeking a dedicated Pain Medicine Physician to join our team full-time. This position will be split between our Waldorf and Prince Frederick, Maryland locations. We offer flexible scheduling options, considering both 4-day and 5-day work weeks to support work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide non-surgical pain management and relief for both chronic and acute pain conditions.
- Perform interventional procedures such as subacromial injections, therapeutic and steroid injections, epidurals, cervical transforaminal epidural injections, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, and nerve root blocks (candidates proficient in some but not all of these procedures will be considered).

Diagnose and treat a variety of pain conditions, including:
- Head, neck, and spine conditions
- Shoulder, arm, and elbow conditions
- Hip, leg, and knee conditions
- General body conditions
- Cancer-related pain
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists and other specialists.
- Educate patients on pain management strategies and preventative care.
Qualifications:
- Board Certification in Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R), Neurology, or Psychiatry.
- Fellowship trained and certified in Pain Medicine.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Pain Medicine preferred.
- Active Maryland medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care.
