Portfolio Analytics Analyst

Who should apply:

Investment banking analysts, credit analysts, or leveraged finance professionals looking to move closer to the buy side. If you enjoy working with portfolio-level data, understanding how deals perform post-close, and partnering with investment teams on risk and return analysis, this role offers strong exposure to institutional private credit strategies.

The role:

Join a Portfolio Analytics team supporting a diversified private credit platform. You’ll analyze portfolio performance across multiple strategies, track risk and return metrics, and help deliver insights used by investment professionals and senior decision-makers.

What you’ll do:

  • Analyze portfolio-level returns, leverage, and exposure metrics across credit investments
  • Monitor performance and risk at both deal and portfolio levels
  • Support recurring and ad-hoc reporting for investment and risk teams
  • Build and maintain dashboards, models, and analytics tools
  • Assist with stress testing, downside scenarios, and portfolio reviews

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a quantitative field
  • 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, leveraged finance, credit analysis, or related roles
  • Strong Excel and financial analysis skills; comfortable working with complex datasets
  • Solid understanding of credit structures, cash flows, and risk metrics
  • Experience with SQL, Python, or BI tools is a plus

Why apply:

  • Buy-side exposure without giving up analytical rigor
  • Visibility across investment teams and senior stakeholders
  • Strong platform for growth into senior portfolio analytics or investment-adjacent roles
