Front desk/administrative assistant is responsible for assisting clients upon arrival or by phone. You will be required to answer, screen and route incoming calls and take messages. You will be required to handle various forms of payment, including cash, checks and credit card transactions and maintain accurate totals. You will be required to perform clerical tasks such as filling, data entry, scanning documents and monitoring office supplies. Ensure the front disk, lobby and reception area is clean, organized and professional at all times.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in customer service, hospitality or front desk role is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential with interacting with diverse individuals. Professional, friendly and patient demeanor is crucial. The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously is a key to success. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Outlook) and relevant industry-specific hardware. Must be able to pass a background check and willingness to further education and certificates in said industry.
