What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estate Landscaper position at Private Residence?
Our private estate landscaping crew has an opening on our team for a full-time residential landscaper. Based in Rancho Santa Fe, this position is a truly unique opportunity for someone who is passionate about growing their career in the landscaping industry.
In this position you will be immersed in various aspects of the high-end residential landscaping industry on a small scale – we provide our client with a range of services including weekly maintenance, design with plant selection and installation, fruit and vegetable garden care, integrated pest management, irrigation services, and more.
The right candidate will have the ability to maintain properties using horticultural knowledge and skills including monitoring and cultivating plant health, utilizing seasonally appropriate pruning practices, implementing and adhering to fertilization schedules, and assessing the short-term and long-term landscape goals of our client in order to meet and exceed client expectations.
We are looking for an individual who has at least 2 years of landscape foreman experience OR are willing to train the right highly motivated individual with an Associates or Bachelors in Horticulture or a related field. Please note this is a physically demanding job and any applicant must be able to work in all weather conditions and lift 50 lbs on a frequent basis. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are also required.
