Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Airport Leader with at least 10 years of experience with baggage handling systems & related airport systems and 5 years of experience as an Airport Team Lead or Manager. This role will oversee all ground operations and ensure the safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction of our airport facilities. Fluency in multiple languages including Korean, Chinese, Japanese, and English is highly desirable to facilitate effective communication across diverse teams and clients. Duties

• Lead and supervise airport ground operations, including aircraft fueling, ramp activities, ground support equipment management, and logistics coordination
• Oversee maintenance management tasks, ensuring all equipment and facilities meet safety standards and operational efficiency
• Manage airport safety protocols in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) and company policies
• Coordinate aircraft maintenance schedules with technicians and mechanics, ensuring timely repairs and inspections
• Supervise team members performing heavy lifting, manual transmission driving, company vehicle operation, and other ground support functions
• Ensure compliance with aviation safety standards while managing aircraft fueling procedures and ground support activities
• Facilitate effective communication among team members using strong organizational skills and multilingual abilities to ensure smooth operations
• Conduct regular training sessions on airport ramp operations, logistics management, safety procedures, and customer service excellence
• Monitor time management practices within the team to optimize workflow and operational throughput
• Lead efforts in customer service delivery by addressing passenger needs promptly and professionally

Skills

• Proven management experience with a focus on supervising diverse teams in an aviation or military setting
• Extensive knowledge of airport ground operations, aircraft maintenance, and aviation safety regulations (FAR)
• Multilingual proficiency in Korean, Chinese, Japanese, and English to enhance communication across international teams and clients
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment
• Mechanical knowledge related to aircraft maintenance, ground support equipment operations, and vehicle mechanics
• Excellent organizational skills for managing logistics, schedules, maintenance records, and compliance documentation
• Effective communication skills for liaising with team members, vendors, regulatory agencies, and passengers
• Basic math skills for inventory control, fuel calculations, weight balancing, and other technical tasks
• Experience operating company vehicles with manual transmissions or heavy-duty equipment preferred
• Knowledge of military procedures or experience is a plus for maintaining high standards of discipline and operational excellence

Pay: $125,000.00 - $133,000.00 per year
