Telecom Management Specialist

Private practice in Irving, TX, is seeking a full-time Telecom Expense Management (TEM) Specialist to oversee and optimize telecommunications services and costs, including voice, data, wireless, and conferencing.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring billing accuracy, maintaining a comprehensive telecom inventory, managing vendor relationships, and driving cost-optimization initiatives. The TEM Specialist partners with internal teams to align telecom services with business needs while ensuring compliance with policies and contracts.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Manage and audit telecom inventory and services
• Review, reconcile, and approve telecom invoices
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and usage trends
• Serve as the primary point of contact for telecom vendors
• Support telecom‑related projects, upgrades, and vendor transitions
• Develop reports, dashboards, and insights to support budgeting and forecasting
• Troubleshoot telecom‑related outages and coordinate resolution efforts
• Communicate outage status, impacts, and updates to internal stakeholders and leadership

Position Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in telecom expense management, financial analysis, or IT asset management
• Strong Excel skills; experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools
• Familiarity with telecom carriers, billing structures, and contracts
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
