We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Facilities Manager to join our growing restaurant group in NYC. This role requires a hands-on, proactive professional with strong experience in hospitality and food service facilities operations. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day maintenance, ensure compliance across multiple locations, and support various projects while maintaining our brand standards and working within established budgets.RESPONSIBILITIESFacilities Maintenance & Operations:Maintain brand-consistent appearance across all restaurant interiors and exteriors.Execute preventive maintenance programs for HVAC, refrigeration, cooking equipment, and plumbing infrastructure.Arrange and oversee required services such as grease trap cleaning, oil pickups, ejector pit maintenance, hood cleaning, and mandated inspections (fire alarm, sprinkler systems, cooking hoods, fire extinguishers).Keep thorough maintenance documentation and verify adherence to service agreements.Schedule contractors for ongoing maintenance, repairs, and specialized service needs.Maintain operational status of lighting, audio systems, and security camera equipment.Day-to-Day Management:Develop productive relationships with restaurant managers and team members across locations.Execute regular site visits to assess maintenance requirements and identify safety issues.Carry out routine facility checks to maintain safety standards and brand consistency.Track work orders effectively, monitoring quality and response times.Handle smaller facility projects and communicate progress to senior leadership.Compliance & Technical Expertise:Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including DOH, FDNY, and municipal building codes.Work with contractors to diagnose and resolve issues with HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and kitchen equipment.Arrange basic electrical maintenance including switches, outlets, and lighting through approved vendors.Coordinate minor plumbing work and furniture/fixture updates with vendor partners.Preserve exterior condition and street presence of all restaurant locations.Enforce workplace safety practices aligned with OSHA and MSDS guidelines.Stay current on fire safety systems and emergency response protocols.Project Coordination:Participate in new restaurant openings, managing construction coordination and vendor relationships.Assist with purchasing of operating supplies, equipment, furniture, and fixtures for new and current locations.COMPENSATION & BENEFITSPredictable schedules with back-to-back days off.Premium health insurance coverage with 75% employer contribution (individual and family options).401k retirement plan Paid time off and parental leave benefits.Pre-tax commuter benefits and FSAJoin a dynamic team committed to operational excellence and growth.
