About the Role
We’re supporting the Florida Department of Revenue in hiring a Systems Administrator (Advanced) to support critical enterprise infrastructure and cloud environments. This is a hands-on role focused on Active Directory, Azure, and enterprise server operations supporting statewide systems.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and support Active Directory (AD) and enterprise Windows server environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical and operational issues across systems
- Maintain server lifecycle, performance, and availability
- Improve and automate AD domain functionality and processes
- Manage organizational units (OUs) and group policy structures
- Evaluate and recommend system and cloud improvements (Azure)
- Support cloud readiness initiatives across enterprise systems
- Provide documentation, reporting, and knowledge transfer to teams
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- 5 years of Active Directory administration
- 5 years of cloud administration (Azure preferred)
- Strong understanding of Azure core services
- Experience supporting enterprise server environments
Preferred:
- PowerShell scripting
- DevOps concepts and SDLC exposure
- Virtual networking and security protocols
- Cost optimization and cloud efficiency
Certifications (Strongly Preferred):
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
