Surveillance Investigator

We are seeking a qualified surveillance professional to become a valued member of our Surveillance Investigation team. The ideal candidate for this position must be a proactively motivated individual with the ability to work independently and discreetly, deliver detailed reports on time, and work varying hours, including nights and weekends, to perform surveillance activities. Majority of this position is surveillance based, however, there can be opportunities for additional investigative work contingent on experience, including, witness interviews and statements, site surveys, and field investigations.

RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Utilize various surveillance techniques and equipment to monitor subjects covertly.
• Document and report observations, activities, and any relevant information in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to write detailed reports electronically using Microsoft Word and to upload video/digital photography.
• Collaborate with other investigators and law enforcement agencies as needed to gather information and coordinate efforts.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal and ethical standards in conducting surveillance operations.
• Ability to deliver work on a timely basis.

REQUIRED:

• Prior experience in investigative surveillance
• High school diploma or GED
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Availability to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to start/end work at “off hours” (i.e. very early morning or late nights).
• Must currently live in the New York/New Jersey area (work is predominantly in the NYC area).
• Must be willing to travel to/from/in Long Island and NYC – 5 Boroughs.
• Ability to pass DMV check, background check (based on NYS Private Investigator criteria), and drug test.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable motor vehicle transportation.
• Proficient in utilizing laptop computers, video cameras and cell phones.
• Good time management skills.

DESIRED:

• Bi-lingual or multi-lingual communication skills.

SALARY & BENEFITS

JOB CLASSIFICATION:

Non-Exempt – Per diem

SALARY:

The Per Diem hourly pay for this role is $27/hr. This is the salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more than the posted salary, and it may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
