Who We're Looking For

We're looking for a skilled tradesperson who takes genuine pride in their work — someone who can walk into a room that needs new flooring, a bathroom that needs to be gutted and finished, a deck that needs rebuilding, or a light switch that needs rewiring, and just handle it. No hand-holding. No excuses. Just results.

This is not a mow-and-blow position. Routine grounds work is handled by other crew members. Your job is to improve our spaces — to take on real remodeling and repair projects and finish them at a high standard. About the Property & Team

We operate a large private residential compound with a main home, guest house, event barn, and commercial workspace. The property is active and always evolving — there is never a shortage of meaningful work here. We have an ongoing list of improvement projects and we're constantly adding to it as we develop our spaces. You will never be bored.

We're a small, family-owned operation and we treat people like it. You won't get lost in a large company or handed off to a supervisor you've never met. You'll work directly with ownership, know exactly what matters and why, and have a real say in how work gets done. The people here are good people — low drama, high standards, and a genuine appreciation for someone who shows up and delivers.

We have two other crew members who handle routine upkeep. You'll work alongside them and can show them a thing or two, but managing them is not your primary job — doing excellent work is.

The Kind of Work You'll Be Doing

Current and upcoming projects include:

• Interior remodeling — bathrooms, flooring replacement, trim and finish work
• Deck repair and rebuild
• Exterior painting and wood rot repair
• Basic electrical work — outlets, switches, fixtures, troubleshooting (licensed work referred out when required)
• Ongoing interior and exterior maintenance and repair across multiple buildings
• Sourcing and ordering materials accurately before the job, not after
• Communicating clearly on project status, timelines, and any issues that come up

What You Need to Bring

• Proven hands-on experience with remodeling, carpentry, flooring, and finish work — show us what you've built or fixed
• Working knowledge of basic residential electrical — outlets, switches, circuits, fixture replacement
• Ability to problem-solve on the fly and figure things out without waiting to be told
• Strong attention to detail — you measure twice and notice when something is off before it becomes a bigger problem
• Honest, direct communication — if there's a problem, you say so; if you made a mistake, you own it
• Reliability — you show up, you finish what you start, and your work speaks for itself
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check

Big Bonus Points For

• Experience working on UTVs, side-by-sides, or small engine / mechanical repairs
• Plumbing knowledge (we hire out the heavy stuff, but basic repairs save everyone time)
• Exterior painting experience including airless sprayer operation
• Landscaping or hardscape experience
• Experience mentoring or working alongside younger crew members — not managing, just leading by example
