A private family in Bend is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and trustworthy Family Assistant / Household Helper to support the smooth day-to-day rhythm of a well-maintained home.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating an orderly, calm, and health-focused household and who takes pride in maintaining beautiful, functional spaces. The position primarily focuses on household support, organization, and light household cleaning and tidying, with occasional assistance related to the children to help the day flow smoothly.
Schedule
Monday–Friday
Morning to early afternoon hours
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh, health-focused breakfasts (smoothies, ginger shots, light breakfast items)
- Prepare simple, nutritious lunches such as salads, proteins, and light meal prep
- Maintain a clean, orderly kitchen and reset after meals
- Household laundry (washing, folding, organizing)
- Make beds and refresh bedrooms and living spaces
- Maintain general household tidiness
- Assist with light household needs or errands, grocery runs, etc., day-to-day needs
- Help maintain pantry and refrigerator organization
- Provide occasional light assistance with two children, such as snacks, simple meals, or helping keep shared spaces tidy
Ideal Candidate
- Spanish speaking a plus!
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Professional, discreet, and reliable
- Enjoys healthy food preparation and maintaining an orderly kitchen
- Self-directed with the ability to anticipate needs, service minded
- Comfortable around children and pets and supportive of a family environment
- Experience working in private homes, hospitality, or similar environments preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
