What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Care Aide position at Private Home & Personal Care?
A lively and intelligent 32 Year old woman who walks with a walker and uses a wheelchair as needed is looking for a Direct Support Professional/community habilitation worker for 35 hours per week.
We are seeking help for afternoon into evening shifts (3:00-9:00, with flexibility for later shifts when the client has social events), and 8:30 am to 4pm Saturday and Sunday.
Job Description/Requirements
Driving is required, as is a clean driving record, but a car is provided. You must be comfortable driving on the local roads and highways, as the client has numerous work/volunteer obligations and social outings each week in the Putnam and Westchester county area.
Looking for engaging personalities who are non smokers.
There is some physical support required, including but not limited to lifting and supporting during transfers from walker to chair, help in the bathroom and help dressing. There is a lift that helps get her from inside the house to outside.
This position includes light meal prep and helping to keep clients areas tidy .
This is an agency paid position and there is paperwork to fill out and various background checks to complete, which we are happy to help guide a good applicant through. Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
