Energetic & Loving Nanny Needed for Our Bright & Active Kids!

Hi there! We are a busy, loving family looking for an experienced, dependable, and energetic nanny to join our household.

We have five bright and active children: ages 6, 5, 3, almost 2, and a newborn due any day! We homeschool, and I am home during the day, so this is a team effort.

Our current nanny is leaving because she needs a job with healthcare

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is:

• Patient, kind, nurturing, and genuinely enjoys children
• Experienced caring for multiple young children at once
• Extremely reliable and dependable
• Very attentive and engaged — this is not a sit-on-your-phone job
• Comfortable appropriately handling situations when children are arguing or fighting, including staying calm, redirecting, helping them work through conflicts, and getting them positively engaged in another activity
• Creative and enthusiastic about hands-on activities, educational play, outdoor adventures, crafts, reading, imaginative play, and exploring
• Very safety-conscious and able to react quickly when needed
• Comfortable keeping up with energetic children throughout the day
• Physically capable of handling a very active role, including running, walking, playing outdoors, getting down on the floor with the kids, and responding quickly for safety
• Someone who enjoys being active and can comfortably keep up with our children
• No screen time: We do not use screens with our children, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable creating fun, engaging, screen-free activities
• No phone distractions during work hours — our children require your full attention

Our children are bright, active, and very conversational. Even our almost-2-year-old is fully conversational and potty trained. We spend a lot of time outdoors and are constantly moving, playing, learning, and exploring.

About Our Family

I am a former teacher with 12 years of teaching experience and a K–12 administrative master's degree. I left teaching to homeschool our children, so education, respect, kindness, and safety are extremely important to our family.

I will be home during the day, and I see this position as a partnership and team effort. We are looking for someone who can work alongside me and confidently take the lead with the other children when I am focused on homeschooling, the baby, or another child who needs me.

Because we are expecting our newborn any day now, we will not be doing face-to-face interviews for the initial interview.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
