Data Governance Senior Associate / Manager / Director

Global Private Equity | Data Strategy & Transformation

Join a global private equity platform in a newly created role designed for a rising leader who wants to shape how data is managed, governed, and leveraged across the firm. This is a high-visibility opportunity to strengthen data integrity, modernize reporting processes, and help build the foundation of an enterprise-wide data governance program.

You’ll work across Finance, Investor Relations, Technology, and Data Analytics to implement scalable processes and technology solutions that improve transparency, streamline workflows, and enable more informed decision-making.

What You’ll Do

  • Contribute to the design and rollout of a firmwide data governance framework, ensuring quality, consistency, and control.
  • Lead end-to-end assessments of data flows, identifying gaps and implementing improvements to reduce manual work and enhance accuracy.
  • Partner with Technology to align data architecture across accounting, portfolio monitoring, valuation, and reporting systems.
  • Build automated dashboards and analytics using tools like Power BI to convert complex data into actionable insights.
  • Maintain governance documentation, data dictionaries, and KPIs to monitor data health.
  • Support change management efforts, promoting best practices and building a culture of data ownership across teams.

What You Bring

  • 6–12 years of experience in data governance, finance, operations, or analytics within private equity, asset management, or a similarly rigorous environment.
  • Hands-on experience designing or improving data processes, frameworks, or system integrations.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Proven project leadership, attention to detail, and comfort working in a fast-paced, data-heavy environment.

Why This Role

You’ll play a central role in modernizing how the firm uses and trusts its data — with the runway to influence systems, processes, and cross-department collaboration. This is an opportunity to grow into a future leader in data strategy while delivering tangible impact from day one.
