Senior Business Systems Analyst - Financial Services

Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid)

What You’ll Do

• Partner with treasury and finance teams to gather requirements, map processes, and define reporting and data needs.
• Translate ideas into clear documentation—functional specs, data flows, user workflows, and interface guidance.
• Work closely with technology teams and external partners to implement enhancements and new functionality.
• Lead user acceptance testing, create training materials, and support system rollouts.
• Manage incoming requests, troubleshoot issues, and drive root-cause analysis for system problems.
• Support integrations using APIs and iPaaS tools, and assist with reporting and data analysis using BI platforms.
• Collaborate with banking partners and vendors on onboarding, connectivity, and platform configuration.

Tech Environment

Helpful experience includes:

• Treasury platforms (GTreasury, Kyriba, Bellin, Reval, etc.)
• SaaS implementations and system configuration
• APIs and integrations
• iPaaS tools (Workato, Power Automate)
• BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
• SQL and relational databases
• SWIFT/ISO 20022 and U.S. payment networks
• FX tools, cash forecasting, and liquidity reporting

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or related field (Master’s a plus)
• 3 years in business systems, financial technology, or analysis roles
• 2 years supporting treasury or cash management systems
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across a diverse user base
• Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment
• A proactive, learning-oriented mindset and comfort working across analysis, data, and product functions
