Our established dental practice is seeking a professional and dependable Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, committed to delivering high-quality patient care, and able to work efficiently in a structured clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures
- Maintain full compliance with infection control, sterilization, and OSHA protocols
- Capture diagnostic radiographs with accurate documentation
- Perform iTero digital scans for restorative and orthodontic treatments
- Accurately enter and update patient records in Eaglesoft
- Communicate clearly and professionally with patients regarding procedures and follow-up care
- Support clinical and administrative tasks as needed to maintain smooth daily operations
- Assist with basic social media content creation as directed
Qualifications
- Active California RDA License (required)
- Experience with Eaglesoft (preferred)
- Experience with iTero scanning (preferred; training available)
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
- Strong organizational skills, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively within a team and in a fast-paced clinical setting
Skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient confidentiality
- Proficiency with dental X-ray technology and digital imaging, including 3D scanners
- Familiarity with dental terminology, oral anatomy, and related medical terminology
- Ability to perform efficient chairside assisting in general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry
- Strong understanding of infection control and aseptic techniques
- Basic knowledge of medical documentation, coding, and billing processes related to dental care
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain procedures clearly to patients of all ages
