Rate: $60/hour. Part-time with potential to grow to full-time.
A social media content creator with an established following is looking for an assistant in San Francisco.
The creator's work focuses on technology, AI, visual effects, and creative projects.
This role is roughly 50% creative support and 50% personal assistant / household support.
Time Commitment & Location
- Part-time (with potential to grow to full-time)
- Typically 2–3 days per week in person
- Usually a few hours per visit
- Primarily in-person in San Francisco
Creative Support
- Setting up for photo and video shoots
- Organizing props, equipment, and supplies
- Giving feedback on scripts and creative ideas
- Coming up with social media concepts
- Choosing wardrobe for shoots
- Helping stage scenes and shots
- Acting as a second set of eyes during filming
- Assisting with creative projects and experiments
- Driving to and from shoots
Personal Assistant & Household Support
If household tasks aren't your thing, let us know. We’re open to splitting the below into a separate role. In that case, the position would stay part-time at 1-2 days a week, and focus on the creative side.
- Laundry
- Breaking down recycling, taking out trash
- Loading and unloading dishwasher
- Tidying up
- Watering plants
- Running errands
- Returns and pickups
- Home organization projects
- General logistical support

- You're highly organized and reliable
- You communicate clearly and follow through on tasks
- You have a driver's license and a reliable car
- You live in the Bay Area
- You spend time on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, or other corners of the internet and have a good feel for internet culture
- You have good visual taste and attention to detail
- You enjoy novelty and a variety of tasks
- You're interested in learning about technology and AI tools (no expertise required)
- You're willing to share your honest opinion when asked
A Note About Personality
The creator is fairly introverted. This role is best for someone who is comfortable working quietly and independently, doesn't need constant conversation, and can give thoughtful feedback when asked.
