Private Advisory is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our team in Lehi, Utah. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned tax professional to work directly with high-net-worth families and their business enterprises, providing sophisticated tax planning and compliance services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage comprehensive tax planning and compliance for high-net-worth individuals and family groups
- Oversee tax strategy and preparation for closely-held businesses and family-owned enterprises
- Develop and implement tax-efficient structures for business operations and wealth transfer
- Coordinate complex multi-entity tax situations involving individuals, trusts, partnerships, and corporations
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and strategic guidance
- Research complex tax issues and provide clear recommendations to clients
- Identify tax planning opportunities across individual and business returns
- Collaborate with estate planning attorneys, financial advisors, and other professionals in the client's advisory team
Qualifications
- Required: 15 years of progressive tax experience working with high-net-worth families and their businesses
- CPA license required
- Expert knowledge of individual, trust, partnership, and corporate taxation
- Strong understanding of estate and gift tax planning
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-generational family tax situations
- Excellent client service skills with the ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly
- Strong leadership and staff development capabilities
- Proficiency with tax software and research tools
