Private Advisor Group (PAG), is looking for a talented, high-performing professional to join our operations team. The operations associate will support our mission of helping advisors grow and service their clients. In this pivotal role, you will support our Director of Operations, playing a key role in streamlining our investment operations, enhancing our client-advisor interactions, and contributing to our strategic objectives. This position offers a unique opportunity to expand your technical and organizational skills within an engaging and professional team setting.
Key responsibilities in this role include:
· Facilitate efficient new account opening processes, including paperwork, agreements, and electronic file setup.
· Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the efficient processing of investment advisory account paperwork and related agreements
· Collaborate with multiple custodians in support of account openings and on-going maintenance of accounts
· Work directly with our advisors and their support staff to process work in a timely and accurate manner and provide status updates through completion of transitioning accounts
· Assist Transitions and Operations Team with obtaining missing client data
· Assist with data collection and validation for various firm filings
· Responds to routine client requests via phone, email and/or other contact methods
· Participate in team meetings and collaborate with operations leadership team on projects and/or initiatives designed to streamline firm policies and procedures
· Provide backup assistance where needed for all Operational tasks
· Collaborate with different departments to improve business operations
Requirements:

- High attention to detail, strong task prioritization skills and the ability to make decisions within the scope of your role

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel), as well as Client Relationship Management (CRM) and Document Management systems
- Working knowledge of Salesforce, Orion, ClientWorks a plus
- Previous experience working for a Registered Investment Adviser or Broker-Dealer in an operations or administrative role preferred
