Job Overview
As a Behavior Interventionist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the education and development of students in various classrooms. A behavior interventionist works with targeted individuals to eliminate disruptive and negative behaviors and replace them with positive behaviors and actions.
Responsibilities
-Establish rapport and meaningful relationships with referred children to reduce their problem behaviors in the classroom.
- Help to maintain safe and inclusive classroom environments.
- Manage student behavior effectively.
- Support students in their learning activities.
- Follow the school's policies and procedures.
- Communicate with school staff regarding any issues or concerns.
Experience
- Experience working with students in various educational settings
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques

- Ability to work with students with diverse needs, including autism spectrum disorder
